In the picturesque area near National Park ‘de Weerribben-Wieden’ in the ‘Kop van Overijssel’ lies Bed & Breakfast Hoeve Blitterswijk. Nearby you will find Kalenberg, Blokzijl and the well-known Giethoorn. Furthermore, the less known, but stunning Woldlakebos is our backyard.

Our characteristic farm has just been transformed into a luxurious Bed & Breakfast, where you can taste the rural life. As soon as you set foot on the courtyard, you will experience peace and quiet, space and the freedom of the farmer’s life.

Enjoy looking at the horses, feeding the chickens and other small animals, it is all possible. For a more active day-out you can take a stroll on the ‘Kabouterpad’ or ‘Laarzenpad’, or you can climb in ‘Klimbos Avontuurlijk Paasloo’.

When you want to explore the environment from the water, it is possible to rent a little boat in the near area of Giethoorn, Kalenberg, Dwarsgracht en Blokzijl. National Park the Weerribben-Wieden is an excellent area for a beautiful bike ride, these can be started from our Bed & Breakfast Hoeve Blitterswijk.
